An unexpected find

On the walk across London in the morning I saw some horses waiting to be harnessed to some old wagons. And then round another corner I found a steam traction engine. I asked the driver what it was all about and he said that it was for an event at the Guildhall.

I encouraged a colleague to join me later in the day and we went to see what was happening. I’ve included some of the vehicles in the extras. If I can get my Flickr account to work I’ll load more there. The white vehicle was an ambulance, the red one is a bus and the Chelsea Pensioners were enjoying the outing.

As part of a mental health initiative I joined a group of people at lunchtime singing. I don’t have much of a voice yet but it was still good fun.
