A walk and catch up

I met a friend today and we walked along the canal at Parbold and up into  Fairy Glen and back round for lunch in Parbold (unfortunately I didn't see any fairies today. It was lovely to catch up as it had been a good while since we last saw each other. The extra is a butterfly which I believe, from the very helpful Woodland Trust website,  is a Gatekeeper butterfly. Off to catch up with a bit of weeding in the garden!
