The Palace of Sintra

Happy New Year everyone.

The fireworks in Lisbon were superb and champagne was flowing well. Late night of course, but a happy one.

Today we're in the gorgeous medieval town of Sintra and yesterday's awful fog and rain have gone. Glorious blue skies.

This is the palace gifted to the English mother of Henry the Navigator.
