Truro Cathedral

Taken through the window of a moving train.

A midday train to Truro. Left about 20 mins late due to awaiting more carriages from the depot. We had just past Reading when we stopped as somebody on the train ahead of us had had a heart attack. We were informed we would carry on our journey once the ambulance had attended but unfortunately they were unable to move the passenger so we headed back into Reading and took a different line via Swindon and Bath. Once we got to Cornwall they decided to only stop at three stations, Plymouth, Truro and Penzance to try and make up some time so those for other planned stops had to alight at Plymouth and await the next train. I was grateful that my stop was Truro.

I had kept mum and dad updated and dad was there to meet me, about an hour late in the end.
