Witch hazel

I went outside to look for inspiration and found it! I planted this last year and was especially delighted to see signs of life today. This will be more prolific as the month progresses so it may make a repeat appearance but it won't be as striking as those first shoots in the sunshine with the fabulous blue sky as it is today.
Spirits lifted at last!
