Sunset over Jordan

We’re now in Kibbutz Samar, a very special place in the very south of the country. They still having meals in the dining room 3 times a day, there’s no shop, you just take from the fridge or store if you want food at home, no-one locks their door ... and it’s 40° in the shade!

We’re visiting Guy and Sivan who stayed with us a couple of months ago. Sivan’s uncle has lived here for many years, but I’ve only visited once before, to my shame. I LOVE it here!

Guy works as an online cartoonist so can work from anywhere, but the 3 x a day dining room was important to him. Along with the air con in every room!

Sivan is just about to start as a G.P. for the area. Having known her since she was 1 year old, I’m very proud of her.
