Gym with a view

The sky was covered with an unusual blue cloud this morning, (and a little round yellow cloud in one corner). However, it was very pleasant, so we decided to go out for a walk.

We visited a local park, which we haven't visited for some months. It was good to see that the council have been spending some money there improving paths, tidying up the gardens and, somewhat mysteriously, installing outdoor gym equipment. So while the kids enjoy their acitivities in the adjacent area, the Mums and Dads (and Grandparents) can enjoy keeping fit whilst admiring the view over the lawns and lakes ponds.

This is the Mrs trying out the exercise bike. She didn't attempt the sit-up bench on the other side of the equipment. There were other devices as well, including a cross-trainer and various other instruments of torture. There was also a bench nearby where I could just sit and watch. (More my style! I'll stick to the swimming.)
