Out with the old...

...in with the new...year! After a peaceful and enjoyable evening by the fire eating some lovely food and sampling the delights of the drinks cabinet, we had a lazy morning, followed by a walk along the river in Cramond. The world, his wife and several somewhat scampish doggies were also there. The weather was beautiful for the start of a new year and the light soft. Along the beach I found this old boot which seemed appropriate for today's blip. Now is a time for clearing out and looking forward, being optimistic, hopeful, enthusiastic.

Off to our neighbours' for more food and wine shortly to celebrate the new year! I hope you all have a good evening!
