Chaffinch

I don't always pay that much attention to female Chaffinch as they're often   more shy than their male counterparts but this little one was much in evidence today and seemed to have the capacity to be everywhere at once.

We've had a super Sunday spent with Jack's sister and BIL, time always goes quickly when we're together and the day has just flown by.  I won't be doing much this evening, I'm going through a patch of sleeping badly - or rather waking too early (4am each morning.)  If I could only sleep till 6am I'm sure I'd feel so much better but I'm hoping it's just a phase that will soon pass.
