Book signing

We went down to Fortrose Cathedral for the launch of the new children’s book written by Elizabeth Sutherland a local author now well into her 90’ s but still writing books and beautifully illustrated by Rachel Bevan Baker.
The afternoon was filled with music from a choir singing old songs in the ruins,including Hymn to St Magnus who has a connection with the Cathedral , pipers playing Highland Cathedral and Clarsach music.
The authors grand daughters, who asked for the book to be written, sang and danced :)
It stayed dry for the whole event.We bought a book of course and had it signed.

Enjoyed watching the Netball World Cup final with The Silver Ferns ( New Zealand) besting The Diamonds ( Australia ) by just 1 point.
