Portrait workshop
I spent today on a workshop with Robert Pugh. The aim was to shoot portraits using an external flash.
Here you see Alex, who was a delightful and very patient model. I’m not too keen on all the more formulaic poses, but I loved this one with the reflections.
We were in the vicinity of St Paul’s Cathedral and twice ran into problems about where we were allowed to shoot!
I learned a few things, but I don’t think I will be investing in a trigger and a separate speedlight.
Nearby, the Chihuahua Café was doing a roaring trade, see extra. There were lots of dogs and owners.
London never ceases to amaze and delight.
Julie and I met up tonight. We staggered to the pizza house next door, where we enjoyed the food.
