The delicate blossom of the Persian Silk Tree. The thermometer hit over 100 degrees F this afternoon, and all these blossoms have now wilted....a bit like us, as we sit out on the lawn under the shade of a large tree. Despite the heat, that is better than being cooped up inside with the air conditioning running on max.
