Starting young

D and K took young C up to Red Pine Lodge by gondola while I rode up Holly's trail to meet them. Then we introduced C to single track riding....1.5km and 90m elevation gain up to Alpine Lake (July 4th blip). He did brilliantly, and even managed to use his brakes during some heart stopping moments on the descent.
A well deserved ice cream at the lodge.
They went back down to the village by gondola, while I continued on Mid Mountain trail to Park City. Turned out to be a bit of a brute, much longer than I'd expected, and some ugly rocky sections, but also some great smooth descent parts.
