Through a viewing hole
Put on my duffle coat for the ride to work this morning as the fog rolled up from the Grey Lynn gulley below us. As it turned out the fog had not reached the top of the ridge, and it was neither damp (from fog) nor cold. Quite a pleasant ride in fact, and even the buses were well behaved.
As I started across Grafton Bridge, I could see that the sun was newly risen. Stopped beside one of the places where viewing holes had been provided in the perspex barriers. After taking a photo fully through the hole, I took this one deliberately including part of the rim of the hole, and am pleased with the effect.
