Birthday cake

My lovely niece was 9 years old yesterday. They went out to Legoland for the day so we were able to pop over and see her when she got home from school today.


This morning we took L to the local theatre to see Tabby McTat (an adaptation of the book by Julia Donaldson). We all enjoyed it. L, who has huge empathy levels, cried and shouted out that she wanted to go home when Fred the busker fell and broke his leg, but she pulled herself round with cuddles from me whilst the doctors on stage made him all better. She spent the rest of the show on my lap.
