Glamping

One night glamping in a “Geo Dome” at Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation near Eynsford. We’re in the dome on the left!

We baked flapjacks this morning and relaxed at home until 4pm. We popped down the road to Eynsford to check in to our little holiday. They put on a great little barbecue this evening and we had a little stroll around the animals.

It’s so peaceful here... apart from the occasional chorus of the huskies, clicking of the reindeer and squawking of the birds of prey! No, really, it’s so peaceful with our great view of the valley and only seven people staying here.

It’s L’s first time in a bunk bed and in a “tent”, so let’s hope we all have a good night.

The break has come at the right time for us.
