First Day of the School Holidays

A Streetscene for Monomonday.  This was taken this evening outside Smethwick Railway Station where we had gone to find a sculpture.  This little family were obviously waiting for a lift as the traffic whizzed past on the dual carriageway which runs parallel to Smethwick High Street.  I used to go there every Saturday with my grandparents when I was about 5 or 6.  It's changed a bit since 1960.

I'm really looking forward to meeting up with Terrifo and SueJay50  this week.  The main blipmeet are Wednesday i Stratford on Avon for Butterflies and a picnic, then Birmingham City Centre on Friday morning meeting in St Martin's in the Bullring cafe for coffee then photography around the City and lunch and gossip...  Join us if you can!
