Wrong direction

It may be a new year but it was a very slow start for us today. We have all spent the day at home with the heating on and a vast selection of toys for cam to play with. He is becoming more and more mobile and is able to turn in a circle on his belly to reach a toy. However if he spots something in front of him which he desires it is not such a simple story. He shuffles backwards rather then forwards which causes a lot of anger and frustration (and a lot of amusement for mummy and daddy).
Not sure how long it will be until he has his forward motion sorted but until then we will stick a reverse light on him and be thankful that he is showing signs of not being a bum shuffler!
