City drew 1-1 with the Codheads today. The opposition have absolutely kicked us off the park, our keeper Dave Preece was kicked in the head (the gaffer DH stated 'he could have been killed') and young Jake Sheridan has had a portion of skin removed from his neck via a fingernail or three from Aswad Thomas. Thomas was sent off.

We had a boy sent off just four minutes after coming on with a tackle that seemed to win the ball fairly.

Even more galling Jake had a goal disallowed despite it being two feet over the line. Grimsby defender Nathan Pond punched it clear in frustration, and somehow the officials ruled he'd cleared it with his feet and it hadn't crossed the line.
