Goodbye Christmas 2012

It is our New Year's tradition for Debbie to take down the Christmas decorations and for me to contend with a hangover. Only half of that tradition is being observed today. We only went out of the house last night to walk the dogs. Sat and watched videos and skipped around the cable channels watching various cities' NYE observances.

Debbie is putting all the Christmas globes into boxes. Each one has a place. Each one it its place. Some have gotten broken over the years. They were never replaced. I will soon climb the ladder and have Debbie hand me the plastic totes that will hold all these treasures until next Thanksgiving. They will come out again to mark another year has ended and begun.
