Mill Moor Walk

A lovely morning so I chose to have a walk before it became too hot.  There was lots to see, starting with these lovely grasses at the start of my walk, then lots of beautiful butterflies as I got closer to the top of the hill and even a few slug damaged fungi scattered through the route.

I’ve also got a rather nice bird portrait.  I think it’s a female and possible a Whitethroat.  She tried hard to distract me and entice me to follow her, but in the end she gave up on me and headed for a bush.  If anyone recognises her I’d love to know.  I’ve got two more images giving different views but they are not quite as good as the one I’ve shared.
