Pruning

This has now become an annual photo of Son2 using his great grandma’s old loppers to give our shrubbery a trim during his summer break. A bit of a hot one today. Trying to keep away from anything news-related isn’t easy but it’s the only way I can think of keeping sane while the UK goes to Hell in a handcart.*


*The origin of this phrase, incidentally, possibly dates back to the Great Plague in the 1300s, when the dead were left in the street and collected by a bailiff who used a handcart to transport them to a common grave.
