The farm Gjerseggi in Skjolden

This farm was first described in around 1300, but after the Black Death nobody lived here before 1600. It's situated at a ledge 350 meters above sea level. You have to follow a steep path to get there. Compared to there beautiful farm, Fuglesteg, I visited yesterday, nobody have taken care of this place since the family who lived here had to leave the farm in 1969 after a rockslide, which almost hit all the buildings.
Well down again, we startet our journay back home.
