langland bay

today was great excitement - my birthday! the big 3-1! teehee! as is tradition for my birthday (despite the time of year and usually dreadful weather) i really do love to go to the seaside! for some reason the family played along and we headed off to the mumbles (or my new favourite place name y mwmbwls! no vowels - amazing!) as tradition had it is was really quite stormy so we dived into verdi's for milkshakes then headed off for lunch at the langland brasserie which was really lovely :-) it was such a nice place and i really enjoyed having lunch overlooking the beautiful bay watching people surfing in the massive waves :-) it was also really nice that mum, dad, urs, sandy, bekkie, gazzy, kirsteen, keira and theo were also there to celebrate my birthday with me :-) after lunch we went for a paddle in the sea and headed off to anne and pauls for tea! i haven't seen these guys in far too long, and it was really nice to see bethan (expecting!), michael, garreg (back from oz!) and auntie lynn (back in the valleys!) too! day was finished off with birthday cake with candles and too much wine! :-)
