...of the family; the other adult and two more cygnets joined them later. I haven't seen them for a while; they have apparently been hanging around the sea of crap at the swing bridge that has only just been cleared. Here you see them going to investigate the moorhen's nest which is improbably teetering on that pile of driftwood.

I went to get my annual eye NHS eye test - 20/20 vision apparently (wearing my current prescriptions, that is). So no arms and legs required in payment for new lenses this time - hurray!
