Remains Of The Day
Not much happening in the sky this evening, so I excluded as much as I could and focused on the rocks and reeds on the lakeshore. The warm light was wonderful on the rocks and contrasted nicely against the cool blue of the water and greens of the algae and reeds.
The reeds are very tall now creating an impenetrable wall and are a haven for nesting birds. The blackbirds swoop if you get too close.
Not a technically difficult shot to take, only a concern for framing and balancing the composition. I liked the curve of the rocks and the different textures in the image.
