Le Grand Tour de Bretagne - Jour 15
Île-aux-Moines, Le Golfe du Morbihan, Brittany
An overcast morning gave way to a sunny afternoon of 23 degrees.
A morning boat trip around the islands of the Golfe du Morbihan, with a short stop on the pretty island of Île-aux-Moines (extra 1 - Le Golfe du Morbihan - the harbour and oyster beds of Locmariaquer, and the Île-aux-Moines)
Then an afternoon visiting the megalithics of Locmariaquer, including La Table des Marchand, a dolmen dating back to 3900-3800 BC (extra 2). And a second evening enjoying the peace and tranquility of our cosy little campsite.
(2nd backblip posted today. It’s now day 22 and I’ve just arrived home. Things have gone a bit pear-shaped in the last few days due to heatwaves, campsites and some numpty driving into the back of the van, but normal blip service should resume shortly. In the meantime, thank you for your recent kind comments and stars.)
