At last...

a glorious morning brought out the Golden Ringed dragonflies! Spent quite a while watching them, patrolling the burn, chasing a butterfly, mating and resting.
The meadow where they were is full of flowers and butterflies. Today saw lots of Painted Ladies, Speckled Woods, Meadow Browns, Tortoiseshells, Small Heaths and the first Scotch Argus!
