Inside a White Cube?

Home alone, trying to do some work but spent much of the day in a lather of displacement activity, including cleaning up the workshop, unpacking all the rubbish treasures from Puglia and finally a rather unrewarding trip to the latest drawing show at the White Cube HQ.
I went so that you don’t have to....
...unless of course you’re intrigued by an exhibition of work by a German artist who has drawn and painted meditative canvases of the same half empty drinking glass almost every day since1974.
I wonder if displacement activity is part of his creative process?
One painting was delicate, precise, a thing of beauty, a group of 50 (all subtly individual ) were powerful, but a gallery of 350...I surrender.

On reflection, I doubt I’ll ever forget them. The artist is Peter Dreher, you may want to take a look...
