Mum on a bus!

So far our bus journeys have been good, we have always managed to get a seat.

Today me and Mum went into Kathmandu to get her last rabies jab and then we had lunch in the Garden of Dreams, which was very tranquil.

We then went up Swayambhunath to check out the stupa there (it's up a hill with loads of monkies and you get to see a nice view of the pollution hovering over Kathmandu.

We then got a taxi all the way back to Chabil where we had a NYE dinner with Andrea, Zeydon and Tsering. After that we went home and played games (including one mega round of Jenga) and then we brought the new year in with the crowing of Cocks, 12 grapes and the clashing of Tibetan cymbals.

Unique and very enjoyable!
