it's all over

the paper is in the recycle bag - the stamps are in an envelope ready for a local charity, the cards are ordered (need a reply, family to keep, others for kids to cut up), the tree is in need of dusting and the decorations are driving me mad - l do believe the season of joy is over!

the bag is on the doorstep
the card bill's on the mat
I've put away the decis
and all the Christmas hats
the memories and wishes
l've stored inside my mind
so when those folks just drive me mad
they'll help me to be kind!!
