Proud Rufty Tufty

As we walked towards the bridge over Seventy Acres Lake we spotted Rufty Tufty in nearly the exact same position as I photographed her last. This time she wasn't fleeing a tufted duck fracas but fronting her brood of five ducklings. :) The males have nothing to do with the incubation of the eggs or raising the young.
