Tuesday Travel

I thought it was time for us to come home and leave the immediate family to maintain the loving vigil for our friend.   We drove to Wellington and were the last vehicle on which did mean no waiting on the wharf but another five minutes and we would have missed it.  Winter doesn't seem to be a big travel time and there was lots of space and quiet places.  The blip is taken as the ferry entered Queen Charlotte Sound in the South Island.
