Day Four...Windows and Wood

Day Four. So...where are the pictures of Merrick? We broke down on our last night and had Mar-mar (Grandma) book us a motel in Mackinaw City. A motel with an indoor pool and water park. The problem? The temperature inside the place felt like it was about 95F, and water was flying everywhere. So, no place for a camera. We spent 3 hours there in the afternoon, and another 3 hours at night...closing the place down at 10 p.m. Needless to say, Merrick slept very well.

The picture of the Mackinac Bridge (which connects our upper and lower peninsulas) was taken from near the top of the lighthouse (Mackinac Point), and the lighthouse was taken from the gift shop.
