Doocot

Lots of bits and pieces to do on Monday morning, however I took a wee break to drive into Westquarter, near Falkirk, and walk down Westquarter Glen (see extra).

Also in Westquarter is the Westquarter Dovecote (or doocot in Scots). Although now situated in a housing scheme, this early-18th century doocot was once part of the Westquarter Estate and supplied the landowner Sir William Livingstone. The doocot is now in the care of Historic Environment Scotland
