3 Castle Head

A beautiful day - bright and breezy - and we took Sue the house sitter out onto the Mizen. The tide was way out at Ballyrisode and we lunched al fresco at O Sullivan's pub, the most southerly in Ireland, renown for its mermaids - see extra (and that's the Fastnet lighthouse by the way). Then we went on to 3 Castle Head - such a wild and remote and magical spot. Perfect for today's Wide Wednesday challenge of Science- just how did they build this here - and Wild Wednesday. 
Sue's making supper and they we shall venture down to Kilcrohane fr this evening's play The Cat's Mother. Oh, and a swim was taken - most refreshing, All go.
