Swimming is tiring!

What a difference a week makes! Last week we were experiencing some of the hottest temperatures on record. This week we have had torrential rain and lots of flooding - lots of damage at Lyme park and poynton brookside mini railway, and Whaley bridge has been completely evacuated as the dam is at risk of collapsing.
Thomas had his first day of tennis summer club today, and luckily for him the rain mainly held off! We dropped him off this morning and came home via the post office to collect my christening dress.
I tried it on and mummy says I look beautiful in it!
This lunchtime was puddleducks again. I loved it whilst I was there, but I also drank quite a lot of the water and so mummy thinks I gave myself a tummy ache, because I was quite grumpy when I got home. I was also very tired!
We went to collect Thomas and it was raining so hard that mummy had to leave me in the car whilst she got out and ran down the track to the tennis club to get him - she didn't want me to get too wet! Mummy and Thomas were both soaked!
On the way home mummy had to drive up through Stockport as the roundabout at bredbury was completely flooded.
Fingers crossed there's not too much more rain tonight.
