The day started off a bit threatening but has turned out not too bad and a damned site better than Whaley Bridge with their threat of a dam burst.

I had the Infrared camera out today and apart from a couple of shots of PD (and a couple of the monsters which didn't turn out very well) the subject had been ……...guess what.

Squirrel was largely better today and both she and her brother were pretty well behaved with only a couple of minor breakdowns from The Cygnet.

Found out this evening that the girl we took in when she was 16 and about to become homeless and have to leave the education system and has become a very successful 'matron' in neo-natal nursing is about to get married.
We are delighted for her for so many reasons.
