Warsaw Uprising - 75th Anniversary.

The architecture of this seaside tenement in Portobello reminded us of the buildings in Warsaw that saw the cruellest fighting when the Free Polish forces took on the Nazis. They would have won if the Russians had crossed the Vistula to help them.

Voluntary night shift. Crazy traffic on the way home which would have been unbearable had the bus strike gone ahead.

Long beach walk in the afternoon and a sunset stroll on the promenade at the day’s end.
