Dogs And Damsels

Ollie dog and I went for a walk at High Beach in Epping Forest while MrQ was in the opticians. We saw the little Yorkiepoo on the left. I love its ears.

Since I first saw a willow emerald damselfly on our property about three years ago I have only seen them singly. This year to date I've photographed a single female, probably the same one repeatedly. I was delighted when my photo assistant Ollie and I spotted three together this afternoon. Two of them and Ollie can be seen on the right.
