NICE DAY....

... again a superbly warm winters day, and we still need rain!!

As mentioned it was "party day" with the girls for our sons Birthday and on the way back from the shops found a few Fairy wren having fun in the dry rushes. Liked this Blue wren. A few more in Flickr starting here.

With the still dry conditions today the Rural Fire Services made the most of some burn offs along the Blue Mountains. This the scene as I headed back home.

And, good thing I did not delay too long as we had to finish the chosen Birthday cake by Alice for the party. The boss did a top job with help from all with the decos... have a look here!

And of course found the Kestrel flying around grabbing lunch.
