I've got a splitting headache.
The was a craft fair in Bryngarw House today, well actually every first Saturday of the month, so we decided to go and have a look. There weren't very many stalls, but one was of particular interest, which was selling hand made wooden items. All the goods had been made by wood'n it be nice, a local family business. J saw a wooden box which took his fancy straight away, and it was going for only £5. The quality is amazing, and I will blip it at a later date. ( see my extra photo) He took it back to the car, and when he came back we had another look and she was putting out some wooden toys her daughter had made, so we bought two of those as well. We then had a walk around and saw one of the keepers of the forest, which I thought would make a suitable entry for Silly Saturday. There was a wedding taking place later on in the house, and we saw some of the guests arriving. It's a fabulous venue for a wedding, although I expect it's quite expensive..Back home now and we are having door stop bacon slices cured in rhubarb, gooseberry & apple, with J's French green beans, and for a change, a bottle of Rose wine for our evening meal.
Thanks to admirer for hosting.
