Another lovely walk this morning...

Right to the south west corner of the island which includes some a lot of WW2 fortifications and some lovely views. Towards the end of the walk is the Table des Pions or Fairy Ring.

Yesterday afternoon I decided I was just being lazy so went for a quick look for the geocache 10 minutes from home which has eluded me despite at least two dozen visits. No sooner had I got there than three people on bikes drew up and started looking at the tree. They had to be geocachers and sure enough they were. They found the cache within seconds!! But even after they put it back I struggled to see it and I’m not sure I would ever have found it without their help. But it’s now a smiley face on my map...
