Lindisfarne

Sis and I headed off at 7.30 this morning for a wee trip up north! We are spending two nights in Dundee (so we can visit the V&A) and then three nights in Stirling.
Instead of doing our normal jaunt across the A66 we decided to head straight up the A1. Bit of traffic as we hit the single carriageway bits but worth it as we managed to hit Lindisfarne just at the right time, tide wise and weather wise. It was glorious. We had a picnic lunch before heading to Eyemouth harbour and then Dundee.
It was an interesting drive as have never been across this way before. Looking forward to the exploration
