Sunlight...

on one of the dozens of Painted Ladies here at the moment. So good to see them. They seem to enjoy the Scabious and there is so much of that this year. Found my speciality again, the Small Scabious Mining Bee.
In the burn there were several Golden ringed Dragonflies.
In the evening, nothing nicer than to sit in the study  watching all the flying creatures between the Birches  lit by the setting sun against the dark  the dark background of the woods.
