Photographic Poeticisms

I'm Off

That's it I'm off
I can't wait
Any longer for then to stuff
Our feeders
Just a moment longer
And I shall die
Of the most ravenous hunger
there! I can see
They've just filled the feeder
At number 79
And no matter you're the leader
I'm off
There's so many people away
Don't they realise
That we are forced to stay
We're tied here
Did you see the sign
For the milkman
Left on the door at number 9
No milk needed
In then the fridge it won't fit
Well lucky them!
What about the blue tit
That waits around
Just to get the cream
A thief, to the family,
Or so it might seem
But to her
It's her family's life
Don't they know
She someone's wife
A mother to be
Who needs to build her strength
Someone who
Will go to any length
To look after
The members of her family
Now look there
Can you not see
Those feeders at number 19
They're so full
And alway so very clean
They've stayed around
And kept us fed all the while
There's seeds and nuts
And mealworms left in a pile
There's peanuts and fatballs
Hangers on every tree
Oh I must be dreaming
Can that really be all for me?
