Dolphins

This morning CyclopsJnr and I went on a boat trip round the Summer Isles. It was a beautiful day, but the seals weren't out on the rocks due to the high tide.  On the way back nature more than compensated us though, with a pod of 20-30 common dolphins, including some juveniles.  They jumped out of the water near the boat, stood on their tails, played in the bow wave, and we got fantastic views of them through the clear water as well as when they breached.  This is one of the small ones exuberantly leaping straight up out the water.  An absolutely wonderful encounter.

In the afternoon we hit the beach again since the weather just kept getting nicer as the day went on.
