Ornamental

A couple of plants have appeared in the garden that Chris has grown from seed.
The packet of mixed seeds was given to Chris by his friend. One of the plants is an outdoor tomato, a bigger variety than the ones we grow in the green house and the other is an ornamental gourd. At first glance I thought it was a courgette as it has similar flowers but it is producing these little yellow fruits. Purely ornamental though I have no idea what we will do with them.

At church this morning we helped celebrate one of our choir members and her husband’s 40th wedding anniversary. They renewed their vows and then served us with fizz and cake after the service. The church flowers they had provided were fabulous. Happy 40th Ruby Wedding B and A!
