Hidden Treasure

A dull and uninspiring day today, summer seems to have deserted us again.

Looking in the green house all the tomatoes seemed to be still green but then I spotted some red ones when looking in from the outside. It took a little searching to find them inside but we now have three ripe tomatoes for tea.

The bramble shouldn’t be where it is. The far side of the house is blocked off by a shed and is full of unused pots and other detritus. I try to pull out brambles and other weeds but obviously this one escaped and we have four blackberries ripe for picking with more to come. Hidden treasure indeed but I don’t think we’ll be getting a pie anytime soon!
