Flowers Bugs And Deer

A day of doing very little!

On our walk today the thistles were looking good in the sunlight, with plenty of beetles on them.

Then I spotted another insect (?moth) on some ragwort (extra 1). Finally I saw a deer in the field across the beck. I managed to get a shot through the leaves of a tree - but it is a very severe crop (extra 2).

Pot roast beef has been cooking all day (in a slow cooker) so just a few veg to prepare and cook when Mrs madwill gets home from the NEC later. I may stretch to some Yorkies!
